Employee Spotlight: Kelsey Pederson
Meet Kelsey Pederson, the iGuide Operator and Photographer at Square Feet Photography & Floor Plans. Kelsey has been working at Square Feet Photography & Floor Plans since the beginning of 2017, and we are happy to say that she still has a bright future ahead.
It’s tough to put into words Kelsey’s importance, but the reason we’re featuring her on our blog this month is to showcase our appreciation for her efforts. Kelsey has already established quite a reputation amongst employees who know her as well as among our clients.
A little information about Kelsey’s background - she is from Outlook, Saskatchewan, and moved to Edmonton in 2009 to study Photography and Graphic Design at Grant MacEwan University. Upon graduating, she pursued opportunities in wedding photography and portraiture, and soon found her niche with real estate. She now has five years of experience with real estate photography and thoroughly enjoys being a part of the team at Square Feet.
As an individual, we believe what sets Kelsey apart from others is that she is always personable, friendly, kind, and efficient. As a professional, she routinely foresees the clients’ needs and ensures that they’re met, making her extremely loved by clients.
We value the trust she has built with clients and are impressed by the high number of rebookings she gets by realtors to shoot their listings. We also admire the fact that she is a hard worker and takes feedback and training willingly.
In the past three years, Kelsey has exceeded our clients’ expectations and turned into an invaluable asset to the Square Feet team.
We recall an incident where Kelsey went above and beyond to meet our client’s needs. She happened to be near a property shooting a listing and realized she was only a couple blocks from a previous shoot she had done a few days back when it was raining. As the weather was pleasant that day, she headed over to the previous property to grab some sunny exterior shots to keep the client happy, without being asked to!
It is clear that Kelsey invariably goes the extra mile, takes the initiative, and makes Square Feet Photography & Floor Plans look good.
Kelsey has genuine care and love for Square Feet Photography & Floor Plans, and we absolutely love the enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity with which she works.
When we asked Kelsey about why she loves working with us, here’s what she had to say:
“I’ve been working with Square Feet for about three-and-a-half years. I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to photograph homes that represent so much of people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve captured what feels like everything. From an incredible basement themed as a 1950’s diner, to a simple, white and bright kitchen, to some stunning rural acreages. I’m honored to work with Square Feet, and I’m excited to see where it will take me next!”
